| When I run the site on my local box, the tab paths are correct. When I deploy the site to another box, the tab paths no longer have the server part of the URL. check out http://portal.ragingfrog.com. The only difference would be the IIS configuration. | We have solved the subTabs mystery in one of the cleanest ways imaginable, however, when we build thwe soultion, we lose the original tabs and the sub tabs. It is baffling, especially when we reload the portal and build it without ANY editing. Please give us assist. Andrew |

| Hi, I am trying to install the .NET I buy spy applications i.e. Portal and Store on Win 2000 Server but i was unsucessful to do so. I have already installed the ASP.net SDK package. The error message I keep getting is: SqlException: SQL Server does not exist or access denied when I do http://localhost/PortalVB. I checked the permissions and everything looked right. | I have now created a root site http://portal.ragingfrog.com and another virtual directory within that site http://portal.ragingfrog.com/portal . Both of these sites are deployed from the same code. Using the ~ in the url paths, the virtual directorty works, but the root site does not. Can anyone please enlighten me to the logic behind this. Any help would once again be much appreciated. | Has anyone looked at how to implement subscriptions on the portal? SP Team Services allows you to subscribe to sections of the portal so you can receive updates. I considered adding an extended stored procedure on updates to email update notices. I'm concerned this might weigh down the database server. |
