It´s possible to use MySQL with ASP.net? I´ve tried using a DataReader to
retrieve data from the database, but it says that I need to use a valid
OLEDB connection string. Urgent plz!!! Help me!

There is nothing that I know of that will stop you from continueing to use
Classic ADO 2.x with MySQL in .NET. That should be a great fallback
position.

If you are using MyODBC, you will need to use the .NET ODBC Data Provider.
If you are using MyOleDb, you may use the .NET OleDb data provider. Make
sure that you have a valid connnection string. The .NET OleDb data provider
does NOT support the Odbc to OleDb bridge that is used within Classic ADO
2.x.

You can download the .NET ODBC Provider (which allows you to use the =
MySql ODBC driver) directly from:

    http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/release.asp?ReleaseID=3D35715

Note that it is not yet included as a built-in component of the .NET =
Framework Install -- although it will be in future versions.

Hope this helps,

Scott
