Check out Terrarium (http://www.gotdotnet.com/terrarium), a p2p game we
built on the .NET Framework. In it, you code the behavior and
characteristics of a plant, herbivore, or carnivore using Visual Basic .NET
or C# and then deploy your creature into the Terrarium ecosystem -- which
spans all participating machines -- to see how it survives against the
competition. It? a great, entertaining way to learn the .NET Framework
programming model (if you?e new to it), while pitting your coding and
strategy skills against developers around the world. (It
also makes for an attractive screensaver.) In early March, we?l be
launching a contest around it. The prize: 10 Xboxes.

If you do a formal uninstall of Beta 2 (control panel -> add/remove
programs ->etc) and then download the V1 bits off of MSDN, you should be
good.

I have .NET RA installed (build 3705). When I tried=20
to install terrarium, I got a message "Found Beta2 installed. Please
install post beta2 (3401 or later)...".=20

Ok, I reinstalled .NET, but in vain. Then I deleted all registry keys
which can point in some way to=20
a presence of .beta2 (build 2914) - no effect !=20

Ok, can anybody tell me how terrarium detects verion of the .NET
platform?=20
