I've seen examples in SQLServer to make a Stored Procedure return a set of data. Has anyone successfully done this with Oracle? To make it simple, let's say I have a table with UserID and UserName and I'd like to "SELECT * FROM USERS". I would like a
DataSet
or something along those lines to be populated with the results from the SQL Statement, but I would like to run that in a Stored Procedure.
The SQL I used as an example really doesn't show a need for a Stored Procedure, but I wanted to keep it simple. Any sample code or ideas would be cool. I'm not sure a Stored Procedure can/could return a
DataSet
.
Thanks in advance,
Matt
