First of all, this e-mail doesn't comply with the escalate rules at:

Step 2 says you must say where you tried asking it and summarize any
(insufficient) answers you got, which you did not.

Second, an event log is a .EVT file anyway (without specifically saving it).
For instance, the Application log is at
C:\WINNT\system32\config\AppEvent.Evt. You might try programmatically
getting a reference to the event log you want, then getting its file name
and copying that file.
