Hey guys, Im just learning how to debug in an asp.net/c sharp project.
After I attach the aspnet_wp.exe process I get a ? on my break point
that says,

"The breakpoint will no be hit, No sybols have been loaded for this doc"

Anyone know how I can get my asp.net debugging to work correctly in
vs.net? Thx in advance

Is the project running on your localhost IIS?
Are you able to debug by placing a breakpoint in your source?

yes it is running on my localhost IIS...

when I put a breakpoint in my source, nothing seems to happen. Its just
runs as though it never hits it. I have a feeling there is a VS.net
setting that I am missing or a security setting that I am missing.
Anyone have a url that has the step by step directions on how to set up
VS.net debugging for a c# asp.net web application?

thx

Hi

I had this problem and found that it was because my project was in release mode, try chnaging it to debug and the break points work.

Hope this helps
