Hi all,
One thing I have noticed with my problem with trying to create a dir on a
remote machine share is that no matter what remote machine I use it does not
want to create the dir there it keeps sayin "Can not find part of path"
\\SERVER\SHARE\ <file:///\\SERVER\SHARE\> " and if there is anything after
that it just ignores e.g my path \\SERVER\SHARE\MYFOLDER
<file:///\\SERVER\SHARE\MYFOLDER> .
Any ideas there is not security errors at all and yet when I do
Directory
.createdirectory(c:\mytestfolder\) it works perfectly!

I don't know if this is anyway related since you don't get the security
error I asked about but it still seems like it might be part of the problem
since I recently had a very similar problem.
in administrator tools you will find "Microsoft .net Configuration"
In there once opened go to "Runtime Security policy"
THen hit to the right "Adjust Zone security"
Now I forgot to ask if this server is on the local lan or what.
I'm assuming it is. Ok then on interant or local lan for all users up the
trust to full trust.
save and now try it.
Joe
