Hi all,
I have been working an ASP.Net application for a few weeks. I have been
using localhost to test my app. Now that I have it working I have moved it
to my hosting site server. If I call basic html pages with my browser they
run fine. But all my asp.net pages fail. The error message follows this
email text. The hosting company says I must be missing a file but can give
me no further assistance. I used FTP to upload all the files from my folder
that I used to create my application. I used Visual Studio.Net to create
this application. Is there a step I missed? Can I just FTP all files to my
host server and it should work? As you can see, I am a developer and not a
network technician!
Thanks,
Bob

Make sure your system.dll is set to copy so that it will copy it to your bin
folder. then upload and it should be fine.

I figured out my problem. I am running beta 2 and my hosting company only
supports version 1. This site was for my personal use and I was hoping to
use beta 2. Does anyone know of a hosting site that allows beta 2 use? At
this point, I hate to spend the money on the final release.
Thanks,
Bob
