Ever wonder how many people are currently visiting AspAlliance.com? Or,
how many pages were served on AspAlliance.com last week? Well, we
recently added a little window into AspAlliance.com's site statistics.
If you look in the lower right corner of any page on the site you will
see that we now display the number of current users, pages served last
week, sessions last week, pages served last month, and sessions last
month.
Please take a chance to visit the AspAlliance.com store at
http://aspalliance.com/store
! We don't have a ton of items for sale (ok,
one but it's a nice one) but we will be adding products over the next
few weeks. Currently, you can purchase a complete web-based
administration suite for the IBuySpy store application. Look for more
products soon!
Also, remember to add your ASP/ASP.NET events to our recently added ASP
Alliance Events Calendar at
http://aspalliance.com/events/
. The ASP
Alliance Events Calendar is now complete and online at
http://aspalliance.com/events/
. If you have an event you'd like to
publish for the ASP.NET community, this is a great place to do it and
have it seen by over 10,000 visitors per day. User group meetings,
training classes, conferences, etc. are all listed in one central
location. The calendar is fully functional, but we hope to be adding
new features to it in the future. Please let me know if there are
features you would like to see.
Regards,
Alex

2. Feature: Two major decisions: When and if to migrate and then what
.NET language is right for us?
By: Philip Quinn (

Philip has taken a crack at two of the questions we all face when we
stare into the .NET world: when and if we want to migrate and what .NET
language is right for us? At times, these are difficult questions to
answer and they shouldn't be taken lightly. Philip gives his opinion in
a very straight-forward manner. Here is a little peek into his article:
"There are still ASP programmers out there who haven't made the jump to
ASP.NET yet and aren't sure if they should. This article will look at
some of the reasons for (and against) moving over to the .NET
Framework."
Both articles will get your mind churning and make for the beginning of
a very important discussion for those of us at the .NET crossroad.

2. Feature: Two major decisions: When and if to migrate and then what
.NET language is right for us?
By: Philip Quinn (

)
