Has anyone noticed that classic asp's error messages have disappeared after
installing asp.net?

I can't debug classic asp apps now!

We haven't seen this issue on any servers. What do you mean by disappeared?

Hello,

Try to set ASP debugging to 'true' in your IIS service manager. It works
for me...

Best regards,

I am having similar problems.

I have changed IE to remove friendly error messages and I get the following
"-2146893052 (0x80090304)" when a domain user attempts to logon to our
inhouse website.

I can logon with no problem as domain admin - but not domain user.

I also can not run a classic .ASP page - get Server Application Error
message.

This is on a clean install - so I have no idea what is going on. The sites
I have tagged as Anonymous are working fine, but our inhouse is using
Windows Integrated auth and cant seem to get it to work.

Common sense says it a config problem, but I havent tweeked anything to blow
it up.

The only thing I can think of is - our network is running Windows NT 4.0
servers as the PDC and I have the web server installed as a member server.
Can this be causing me the grief.

I have even added a "DOMAIN USER" to the local "ADMIN" group and still no
go.

I have changed the machine.config to run under "SYSTEM" and still no go.

HELP!!!!

What do I need to config or point me in the direction I need to be looking.

thanks
Paul
