treeview permission problems Messages   Related Types This message was discovered on ASPFriends.com 'aspngwebcontrols' list. Tom Bray Hello - I am having the "There is invalid data at the root level. Line 1, position 1." Error when I try to pull my nodes from an XML file. I have given the ASPNET User full control over the root and the file and still no luck. Has anyone figure this one out? It could be permissions, or it could also be an issue with your xml.
