is it possible to catch error from sql server in c# ? and have access to the error msg?

I've got very limited knowledge of C# and especially the exception class
but this is possible: -

try
{

}
catch(Exception e)
{

HttpContext.Current.Response.Write(e.Message);

}

As long as you put any Database access or Execution code inside the try
block you can read the error messages in a controlled manner.
