Hi all,
Is there a way to assign a default attribute to an asp:Button? I have a page
with several buttons and I need a specific button to be the default. I can't
seem to find anything about this in the documentation. Any help will be
appreciated.
Thanks,
AG

Hi Andy,
I had the same problem. My solution was to write my own button control. =
Via
this control I can specify whether a button is of type default, cancel =
or
normal. In the html default buttons becomes submit buttons, cancel =
buttons
becomes reset buttons and normal buttons becomes "buttons". To make =
correct
post backs I used JavaScript's to handle the click event. By only =
having one
active submit button on a page I can control which button becomes the
default button.
It might not be an elegant solution, but it worked for me. However, it =
would
be interesting to here about other solutions for this problem.=20
