Hi all
I probably should post this on aspngibuyspy but I think it might be a VS
problem ...
I can't work out what's wrong. The installation of IBS says install complete
but I can't open the project file without error.
"unable to open web project 'StoreVBVS'. the file path
e:\inetpub\wwwroot\StoreVBVS does not correspond to the URL
http://localhost:/StoreVBVS
'. The two need to map to the same server
location. HTTP error 404: Object Not Found"
I'm getting closer calling IBS up in the browser. It's now an application
and I'm working thru another problem "SQL Server does not exist or Access
Denied". but I still can't open it in VS.
I've been going thru the asplists/ibuyspy archives and I haven't found the
error I've got (yet) trying to install the VS (VB) version of IBS.
can anyone suggest anything? It'd be greatly appreciated
thanx
Barry

To fix this problem go to the .webinfo file for the project... It is
usually the (name of your project).webinfo. manually change the webinfo
file to point to the correct IP. Localhost is used or what you set up is
used for the IP but when you move it or try to run the proj from another
machine that doesn't have access or mapping to the IP it can't find the web.
Find out the IP that you are serving off of and change it to that in webinfo
file. Then reopen the project or refresh it and it should be able to find
the IP to connect to.
