Hi all,
We are looking to redesign our Company Intranet which is currently
written
Using ASP/ VB Com / Sql2K.
Some of our main design issues are:
1. Content Management: Authoring / Publishing by various Depts.
2. An attractive and functional Web Site design with flexible
navigation.
3. Security - integrated with Active Directory with WAN users and
alternate method for Web Users who are required to login.
4. Ability to generate pdf reports/documents on the fly.
5. Seamless interface to Web / DB (asp / asp.net )Applications ( some
hosted on other web sites ).
We've been considering waiting for the .NET version of Content
Management Server but I believe it doesn't have a integrated Security
solution.
Any ideas on how best to architect and plan this project ?
Especially for items 1, 2 and 3 above.
e.g. For example, has someone developed a flexible framework in .NET for
Web Site design and Content Mgmt with Security.
Thanks, Paul Chu

Content Management Server 2001 uses active directory for its integrated
security. I have not seen any .NET CMS, but I asked at Tech-Ed and was
told around summer to expect a public beta. I would wait for v.net of
CMS.
