Dinesh,

It's not really an ASP.NET issue at all. You can do this one of two
ways: use a META REFRESH tag, or use client-side Javascript.

Meta tag version (tag goes in the <head></head> portion of your document):

<META HTTP-EQUIV="REFRESH" CONTENT="30;URL=newfile.aspx">

where 30 is the number of seconds to wait and newfile.aspx is the file to
redirect to.

JavaScript version:

<script language="javascript">
var i = 0;

function waitGo() {
// If 30 seconds have passed, redirect
if(i==30) {
window.location.href="newfile.aspx";
}
// otherwise increment i by one and wait 1 second
// (1000 milliseconds)
i++;
setTimeout("waitGo()",1000);
}
</script>

I suggest calling the waitGo() function from the body tag, like this:

<body bgcolor="whatever" onLoad="waitGo()">

Cheers,

Peter
