Hello-

Has anyone seen any good information about using the <location>
element in web.config? I'm hoping I can specify authorization
information on specific pages using this tag.

Regards-
    Eric

What about this:

Configuration <location> Settings
ms-help://MS.VSCC/MS.MSDNQTR.2002JUL.1033/cpguide/html/cpconconfigurationloc
ationsettings.htm

What's strange is that this page, which has been a great reference on
web.config settings (and is strangely a broken link from my VS.NET install's
online help) doesn't mention <location> at all:

ASP.NET Settings Schema
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/en-us/cpgenref/html/gngrfaspnetconfigurati
onsectionschema.asp

So it looks like anything you can put under <system.web>, you can put in
<location>, including <authorization>.

HTH,
Peter
