We have an app that for some reason - ONLY ON MAC IE (netscape works =
fine on it) - after a few submissions of forms, the mac will not submit =
another form unless we wait about 30 seconds to submit!

It is the strangest thing and am having a very hard time cracking this =
one.

Any help on this is appreciated - I have recreated it on 2 macs and have =
a url if anyone else would like to try.

I don't know if this is your problem, but we had problems making some pages
work on MAC IE and it came down to the version of the OS. Apparently (and I
am no MAC specialist) there has been a latest release of the OS the previous
vrsion only supports IE up to a certain version no. (5.1 I think..) and the
latest OS seems to work, although both had different rendring "oddities".
Our solution, we had to recode a number of HTML/ASPX pages to make them look
ok under a MAC, although it still looked different in IE 5.0 on a MAC to IE
5.0 on a PC.

I haven't provided a solution but perhaps this may point you in a right
direction to find one.

I recently had a MAC IE form posting problem. I determined that the =
version of IE was at fault,
as folks were suggesting on the news server: =
microsoft.public.mac.explorer

The version was MAC IE 5.1. After upgrading to IE 5.15, the problem =
went away.

Just Checked... it was 5.0 but upgraded to 5.15 with still the same =
results.

For anyone who wants to try (and this will be really appreciated):

If you just type some text in the first few fields on the first page, =
then you can just click 'next' thru the survey.

When you hit the 'What is your opinion of GM'... (page=3D20 I think) =
when you submit there it usually stalls. You wait about a minute and =
then it goes again.

This does not happen on the mac with any version of netscape nor on the =
pc at all.=20

I have tried different database servers, shutting off viewstate on =
controls...

Any ideas are appreciated!!!!
