I need to create a cascading and context menu using these technologies:
C#, ASP.NET, DHTML, JavaScript, XML, CSS...pretty much what every
source of help has. However, all of this is quite overwhelming. Is
there a good starting place? And what are the steps to quickly
accomplishing this task? Thanks in advance.

Jon

You should check out www.aspnetmenu.com, they have done a pretty good
job of creating a nice menu component.

Thanks. But I don't want to purchase a component. I want to be able
to build it myself...Just wanted to know what is the best approach.
I'm sure other beginners are having a similar issue.
