Hi folks,
I have a web site I created using ASP.NET. What I want to do is to play a
sound when a certain condition arises and stop the sound when the user
acknowledges it. Any hints on how to do this? I really don't know much
about JavaScript or where it even goes within the page. Sorry for being
such a newB.
TIA
Joe

There are or were two methods.
A false error causing a beep.
Or a java documented thing.
As you use asp, just send a .wav file down the line and
play it.
============
You can also use the ms speach agent
and play a line like oh, s*it.
People always love honesty next to their name.

Thanks for the response. How do I send a .wav file down the line? Do I
actually send the file, or send a link to the file with a <script> tag or
something?
