I have an asp applications that works fine. I need this to run a similar
application on a blackberry. Has anyone developed an app using .NET for a
blackberry? What would be required?

You will need to use Mobile ASP.NET. In Visual Studio choose Mobiule ASP.NET
project and go from there

Dosen't the Blackberry have to have .NET Compact Framework installed on it
or equivalent for the web app to work?

I have created several web-pages for my BlackBerry device. I used standard
ASP.Net web forms and output just the HTML code I want.
