Yup, and it has to be the full version, ie not the MSDE version.

Whoop!
I just got the .NET My services SDK installed (after installing the
Developer edition of SQL Server 2000!) I've also installed the .NET
Alerts SDK and .NET Alerts Server SDK.=20
It's quite scary the number of databases it puts on to your SQL Server,
take a look at this screen shot: -
http://www.myservicescentral.com
/images/resorces/040120022058.PNG
As well as all the databases it creates it also places loads of virtual
folders on IIS (these are the sample applications): -
http://www.myservicescentral.com
/images/resorces/040120022234.PNG
Be Afraid, be very afraid! :)
I'm looking forward to playing with it though I'm going to have to get
my head around C# because all the samples are in C#, maybe a nice
project to learn it will be to convert some of them to VB.NET?
Has anyone else had a serious play with it yet? Do you have any
experiences to share or any "gotchas" with it?
Over time I am planning to document my learning of .NET My services on
http://www.myservicescentral.com
which hopefully will aid others in
learning what its all about and how to use it, I'd love to hear peoples
feed back on what they do and don't know about .NET My Services as well
as what they want to see about it.=20
I'd like to point out I am not trying to advertise here as this site is
not going to be money making - I'm not even planning to place banners or
adverts on there; its purely for my own learning purposes if it helps
others learn too then great!
Any who, enough rabble from me.
Hth and thank you,
Plip.

The myContactsWebClient is a very good VB.NET example included with the My
Services SDK. This is the sample I have used the most so far.
