Couple of sources,

IIRC ASP.NET Tips Tricks and Code Samples (Sams) (I think that's it's
name it's at home) has an example of how to do that.

Also Ollie Cornes wrote and article that's on ASPToday.com showing how
to do it but I think that was in Beta1 ASP.NET so might eb a little out
of date.

Hth,

Plip.

Can anyone tell me how to use the System.Web.Security namespace for
building
a ASP.NET C# Passport SSI? All the code examples provided in the SDK
are
for old style ASP, using the create systems object methods. Visual
Studio.NET Help gives you 3 basic steps to implement .NET Passport as
follows:

---------help snip start---------
To implement Passport authentication in an ASP.NET application

1.. Download, install, and configure the Passport SDK from
http://www.passport.com/business. You must register and pay a fee to
obtain
the SDK.
2.. Set up Passport as the authentication mode in the application
configuration file as follows:
<authentication mode=3D "Passport">
</authentication>
3.. Using the Passport documentation and the Passport SDK
functionality,
implement Passport authentication and authorization.
---------help snip end---------

step one done. step two done... step 3??? how can one do this if it's
all
old style ASP examples? LOL!

Anyways, All I'm looking for is a simple default.aspx page that
contains
the PassportIdentidy.LogoTag2( ) image... that when clicked on
authenticates
you and redirects you to the secure.aspx page with the LogoTag2( )
image
for loging off... If I can get atleast this figured out the rest will be
cake...

Anyone worked with Passport yet?

Thanks much,

Michael Wakkinen
